Assistant Professor, Towson University, Electronic Media & Film dept., Fall
2005 - present. Tenure Track.
Teaching Assignment: Introduction and advanced undergraduate video and television
production courses including:
Corporate Video EMF 437: An advanced HD corporate communications production
course based on creating short documentary style videos for local non-profit
client projects. This course is offered both in the Spring and Fall, with an
average of ten (10) videos produced by senior EMF students each year.
Previous Client HD Projects include: Gunpower Falls Conservancy, Maryland Zoo,
B-More Dog Education program, and the Central Baptist Male Chorus of Baltimore.
Electronic Field Production EMF 373: Intermediate video production course.
Film & Video Production EMF 222: Intro video production course.
Academic student advisor to over 40 students, as well as faculty advisor for
Student Run Television Station WMJF-TV. Planning Committee Member. Lead faculty
member for High Definition Video Production.
Visiting Assistant Professor, American University, School of Communications,
2004-2005. Teaching Assignment: undergraduate and graduate digital media production
classes for Film & Media Arts program, including introduction survey course
in Visual Literacy. Graduate student thesis project advisor. Developed new digital
media production courses. Provide information on various digital media technology
and applications to department and staff. Utilized distance education on-line
Blackboard 5 and 6 software for course instruction.
Adjunct Professor, American University, School of Communications, 2003-2004.
Teaching Assignment: advanced graduate film and video production class for MFA
program, including instruction for both documentary and narrative styles of
filmmaking.
Adjunct Professor, George Washington University Documentary Center, 2003. Teaching
Assignment: video production including camera, lighting and sound recording
for intensive 6-month program. Also taught AVID digital video editing and audio
mixing. Director of Production of final student film, “Opening Moves”.

present. Teach an independently developed series of workshops on AVID Symphony,
